Local Priorities

On going anti social behaviour issues on Gloucester road.

Issues include:

Aggressive begging outside large shops.

We work along side other local agencies to offer support to people who find them selves at risk of homelessness or already rough sleeping.

Homeless or at risk of being homeless 

Parking issues on limits of crossings, mainly zebra crossings.

(Parking on ZigZags)

Traffic Offence Reports will be issued to drivers who we see stopped, waiting  or park on the zig zags or the crossing.

Status Update

The team engage with people begging and being anti-social on a daily basis.
We work in partnership with our Streetwise Team in order to combat this and signpost the individuals towards organisations that can offer them help.

Prohibited items, mainly drugs and mobile phone, are being thrown over the walls of HMP Bristol for use by the residents of the prison.

We patrol this area in both marked and un marked vehicles to deter offenders.

Patrols have been increased at the times of day when the offences are being committed.
